My gosh !!!!! We won 25 NZ National Titles!!!
The names will be here soon, but our players did exeptionally well by winning 25 titles at the NZ National championships last weekend.This was backed up by some super support with heaps of silver and bronze medallists. Everyone was awesome. Surely this is some record or something, and a tribute to the hard work by the athletes, the sacrifice and support of the parents, and the tiny contribution by the coaching staff.
Here are the names of the gold medallists : Danielle (2), Jade, Henry, Pit, Annezka, Kate, Sylvia (2), Meghan (2), Jessica (2), Liam (2), Anton (4), Alex, Ryan, Moira (3), Emma. The silver medallists were Cameron, Alexandra, Tatalong (2), Tawan, Dante (2), Brandon, Annezka (2), Kate, Vinay and Jess. And the winners of bronze medals were Nathan, Jade, Charlotte (2), Vinay, Kate, Ryan, Nick, Isaac and Alex. A phenominal 25 gold medals (15 Players), 13 Silver medals (10 athletes) and 10 bronze medals from 9 players. A total of 48 medals - another record, surely.
In addition to this, our club members won trophies for being the most outstanding athletes in the age groups of Jnr girls (Dani), Snr girls (Jade), Jnr women (Jess), Snr women (Jess) and jnr men (Ryan). Truly remarkable.
